How does the ordering process work?

We have a new menu featured each week, always featuring 12 dishes; 4 snacks, 4 lunches and 4 dinners. Check out the Order Now page to see the current menu. (You can select a bundle of all 12 dishes for savings, or you can mix & match your meals and order as few or as many as you would like!)

When does my order have to be in?

All orders need to be in by Friday at 8pm, for delivery the following Monday. 🥰 Every Saturday morning, a new menu will go up and you have the full week until Friday to put in your next order. (Please note the delivery date listed on the banner at the top of the page when ordering.)

How does delivery work?

We deliver on Monday evenings, between 3pm-8pm (unless otherwise stated). 🚚 You will receive a notification containing a tracking link when your order has left the kitchen, a second when you are the next stop, and one final notification when your order has been delivered!

Is everything 100% vegan?

Yes! 🌿We do not use any animal or animal byproducts in our cooking. We strive to make a large variety of delicious vegan dishes, showcasing how dynamic and fun vegan cooking can be!

What if I have allergies / intollerences?

There is a section on the cart page for you to list any allergies or sensitivities you may have. We will work around them as best we can, and if we are unable to modify a dish, we'll reach out to you! 💌(Please note that for significant and/or broad allergies such as nut allergies or a need for meals to be gluten-free, we ask that you order dishes from the Mix & Match section, rather than ordering the bundles. Unfortunately, it can be difficult and costly for us to modify the bundles and often results in us omitting entire dishes, leaving you with a bunch of refunds instead of the food you ordered. 😔)

What about cross contamination?

Although we do our best to avoid any cross contamination for our celiac and nut free friends, we operate in a facility that contains these items.

Do you provide nutritional information for your meals?

Yes! We provide rough estimates of nutrition information based on calculations from an AI nutrition app. However, please note that actual values may vary due to ingredient substitutions, adjustments in recipes, and the challenges of portioning large batches of food. While we strive for accuracy, these numbers should be used as a general guide rather than exact values. We focus on variety and creating dynamic and exciting menus that contain a large variety of plant-based proteins, health fats, complex carbs and fresh produce.

What do I do with my used containers?

Our containers are fully recyclable. Please ensure you place your used containers in your blue recycling bin. We have moved away from using compostable containers after discovering that the Lower Mainland does not process compostable takeout containers. Instead, we've opted for containers made from recycled materials.

Do you have a reward/loyalty program?

We sure do! Check out our Loyalty Page, and join our rewards and referral program in order to collect points and redeem rewards! We want to thank you for your ongoing and continuous support that helps us grow! Every 3 points gets you a reward, each reward redeems a free dinner :)

What is included in the Whole Menu and Family Plans?

The Whole Menu contains 1 of each of the items on the weekly menu, 4 snacks, 4 lunches and 4 dinners. Family plans start at families of 3, and include everything on the weekly menu x the number of people you are looking to feed in your house hold.

How long does the food stay fresh in the fridge for?

We recommend consuming all meals delivered within 5 days from delivery. Any salads and bowls with fresh vegetables, are best consumed first. We will send a fresh sheet in your order confirmation email, with the items best consumed first.

Can I freeze my order?

We do not recommend freezing your order items as these meals were made to be consumed fresh. If you do decide to freeze any items, ensure that they don't include any fresh vegetables. Desserts, pastas and casserole dishes will freeze and defrost better than anything that has fresh vegetables.

I really liked something that was on a previous menu, how do I get this back in my fridge?

Reach out to us! We love the feedback and our menus are designed with our client's in mind! If you loved any dishes, reach out and we will bring these items back!

How does the Cooler Bag Recycling Program work?

😣 We typically offer a cooler bag recycling program but we are temporarily out of stock while we scramble to find a local supply. We'll keep you posted! In the meantime, if you will not be home to receive your delivery, we recommend leaving out a cooler or insulated cooler bag for us to drop your delivery into so it stays fresh until you get to it! 🌿❄️

What if I'm not in your delivery zones?

As we grow, we will continue to expand so please reach out if you are interested in finding Terracotta Tummy in your neighbourhood. The more people that reach out, the greater chance we have to open up another delivery zone.
